Employer terms
Last updated:
1. Service
Treat Health Oy provides your employees access to remote medical advice from independent, licensed Finnish physicians as a covered benefit. Employees trigger consultations themselves; Treat Health Oy invoices you per case. The physician — not Treat Health Oy — provides the medical service and is responsible for it.
2. Employee accounts
Employees register with Finnish strong electronic identification and accept the patient terms personally. You are responsible for keeping your covered-employee list current; cases submitted by listed employees are billable.
3. Pricing and invoicing
Per-case pricing per your contract, with volume discounts at agreed thresholds. Invoicing monthly, net 14 days, by email invoice or e-invoice as chosen during onboarding. Late payments accrue statutory interest.
4. Data and reporting
You never see identifiable clinical content. You receive usage aggregates only: quarterly reports of consultation volume and the broad reason categories patients self-select. Reports are anonymised so individual employees cannot be identified, and small cohorts are suppressed.
5. Service level
99.5% platform availability target. Median first-doctor-response time under 2 hours during Finnish business hours. Credits if we miss the SLA two months in a row, per your contract.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties keep each other’s business information confidential during the agreement and for two years after. Clinical data is never employer-accessible regardless of this clause.
7. Liability
Treat Health Oy is liable for the platform, with liability limited to proven direct damage up to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Neither party is liable for indirect damage or for delays caused by force majeure. The physicians are responsible for the medical services under the Patient Insurance Act.
8. Term and termination
30 days’ notice either side. Open cases run to completion at the contracted rate. Employee data is deleted after contract end except where statutory retention applies. Either party may terminate immediately for material breach left uncured for 14 days.
9. Changes and assignment
Treat Health Oy may amend these terms with 30 days’ notice; if you object to a material change you may terminate before it takes effect. Either party may assign the agreement in connection with a business transfer with notice to the other.
10. Governing law and disputes
Finnish law applies. Disputes are resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
